Your order form is more than a place to capture a quick sale; it’s where you record important information for continuing to service a client. Maximizing your order form increases your future sales, your future bookings, and recruit leads.
- Highlight items that are on sale.
- Point out any specials you have.
- Write your email address and phone number on your order forms – make sure it is legible.
- Ask your guests to write your name and consultant ID on their form so they remember who you are.
- Get both home and cell phone number – ask how late you can call and what number she prefers to be reached at.
- Make sure you have her email to send her your company newsletters, your specials, and product news – be sure she knows you will not share her information with anyone (and don’t ever include your customers in forwarded emails!).
- Get customer’s birthday so you can send a gift certificate during her birthday month.
- Get customer’s husband name and work number so you can call him for Christmas, Mother’s day, Valentines Day, and anniversary - husbands love help with shopping.
- Get your customer’s anniversary date.
- Note any items not purchased that she still wants, likes, or is thinking about.
Before giving the receipt to the customer do the following:
- Write “NEXT” next to the 3 – 5 items she should purchase next time to maximize her investment in your product and get the most out of it.
- Note which items she could earn free or at half price by hosting a show.
- Write and circle “You Saved” and the dollar amount that she saved by taking advantage of any of your show specials – women always feel better about spending when they know they saved money doing it.
- Point out your website address and let her know she can continue shopping on line with you.
- Tell her where to store her receipt when she gets home so she can always find it quickly when she needs you.
After your client leaves the order table:
-
Write down any important details about her on your copy of the receipt so when you make your customer service calls you remember who you are talking to.
-
Put a star on the receipt of every customer you know you want to call to offer the business opportunity.
